Prayer & Praise

In the book The Battle Plan for Prayer, it is noted that George Muller, one of the greatest praying men of all time, documented fifty thousand answers to prayer in his lifetime. He once said, “I live in a spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk about, when I lie down and when I rise up. And the answers are always coming…When once I am persuaded that a thing is right and for the glory of God, I go on praying for it until the answer comes.”

We know that God can change a person’s heart, and the direction of their life, in a moment and we know that He is the only One who has a perfect plan for each of us. Below we lift-up our friends who are experiencing homelessness, and those who serve them, and cry-out to God for His strength, His peace, and His purpose. We also give Him praise for all of the answers that He provides.

PRAYERS

1) L: Find a job and support her family

2) B: Maintain his sobriety and fulfill dream to become an addiction counselor

3) D & R: They will be more receptive to efforts to establish a plan to get them out of homelessness

4) M: Recovering from a heart attack

5) Bring the vision of Circle City Village into reality

6) C: Get help with his addiction and change his life to help people

7) G: Keep working away and not get set-back by recent housing changes

8) Indy Sit/Lie Ordinance is defeated

9) J & S: Seek help with their addiction and become clean & sober

10) L: Recover from very serious health issues

11) R & J: Being new from out-of-town trying to get them connected; R also dealing with health issues

1) D: Was able to get housed after more than a year on the street
